Well if he has 10 8, you just beat that, which is good. If the has a naked three and was pushing the river regardless, he is an idoit and you need to rebuy asap. You didnt give much of a read, if the capable of doing this with a str8 draw? I think 88 and 1010 are possible, but aslong as my reads and table dynamics dont disagree, I call.

But as a side note, you need to find a raise at some point before the turn. Did you have some specific reason to not 3bet preflop? or 3bet the flop? I think 3betting pre is super standard, but if you had reasons for not 3betting, I would like to hear them.

who the fuck knows lol. It's just gross. Given how he played the TT on a J high board, he could very well be spazzing out with Tx or T8 or a missed draw. But you have to be good here 38% of the time, and he did shove into 2 players. Idk how insane he is, but he'd have to be pretty insane to bluff 2 players here after all draws missed when they both clearly can have something.

Also, was there a FD on the flop? What was the turn card? Any information that suggests he could call twice with just a 3?

But overall, idk wtf to do.

Deep poker is for degenerates. This hand terrifies me.

You are getting a great price, but that is by design. This deep, is it really that criminal to check back even strong overpairs? I mean assuming you have jj+ is this not exceptionally thin? That said I think I click call with jj+ but expect to lose a LOT.

Yeah.. not raising is fine.. it'd be tough to assign a range of hands that dwan is bet/calling the river with that eastgate beats but..

Board: 6d 5h 3d 6s Ks
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 42.593% 40.74% 01.85% 11 0.50 { Ah6h }
Hand 1: 57.407% 55.56% 01.85% 15 0.50 { 55, 33, A6s, K6s, Q6s, 96s, 86s, 76s, 74s, 63s+, 86o, 76o, 65o }

Board: 6d 5h 3d 6s Ks
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 47.436% 43.59% 03.85% 17 1.50 { Ah6h }
Hand 1: 52.564% 48.72% 03.85% 19 1.50 { 55, 33, A6s, K6s, Q6s, J6s, T6s, 96s, 86s, 76s, 74s, 62s+, 42s, A6o, 96o, 86o, 76o, 65o }

I've yet to find a hand range that's reasonable with 50% equity on the shove. There would have to be a ton of a 6x (like nearly all of them) in dwan's bet/call river range and/or some Kdxd hands (which I highly doubt calls a shove)..

As a prop player. For sites that have low traffic that need players to start games at all stakes with own bankroll. Alot of the sites are for mobile devices etc...

There is so rarely any high stakes Hold'em action on Stars anymore, and it was getting increasingly sparse on FTP as well. If/when online poker is legislated in the United States, will we see a return to HSNL or do you feel as if the game is too deeply understood by too many players and thus is an artifact of the past?

If there are fish, the games will run.

I don't think it will ever run frequently again though.

Most things are cyclical, need economy to pick up and some legislation, games would be running then

I don't like the turn check back for a bunch of reasons, but like maybe there was some solid reason not to at the time.

this site is apparently not only for mobile devices. It has a casino, betting and poker section. I downloaded their poker client and a lot of people seem to be playing. I kind of like it...we'll see how it goes

Hi Bart,

I'm new to DC and was actually going to cancel after my 7 day trial till I found your videos because I almost only play 2/5 and 5/10 live and rarely play online.
I wanted to ask you a few questions.
1. Do you have a series that covers the basics of your live game ? Buy ins, bankrolls, opening ranges, the math u use etc...
2. In this spot I have tried to make similar moves at 2/5 and found that I was being called with QQ+ way to much can you comment on your experiences between the differences between 2/5 and 5/10 overal and how I should adjust.
3. Do you offer any coaching for live play ? I live in Canada though so not sure if it can be done.
4. My game is decent TAG and I have the ability to adjust when I'm on my A game and I have always been curious what kind of win rate a good full time live player can make at 2/5 5/10 ?? I've asked a few of the regs at my casino but you never get a straight honest answer lol
Thanks and keep up the good work I cant wait to watch this whole series.

I will save Bart some time. He touches on almost all of this stuff in the series of videos and his podcasts. If you only listen when he interviews Limon you will hear them discuss bankroll stuff and winrates which will be somewhere around 25 and 50/hr respectively if you are really good. He does coach live players and you can read about his coaching in the coaches section (livebikebart)
