About just overbet shipping the flop over his 3bet, it might actually work. Allthough it is roughly 3x Pot, so it might seem pretty crazy. Maybe crazy ennough for him to level himself into calling 55 though, so I kind of like the idea! In the future, I would probably tend to make it a little bigger, like you said, and then ship most turns for the rest. My sizing left me 110% pot which is not an ideal geometry. Going 650$ OTF and then jaming all non pairing turns seems best. I am still not sure wheter we should bet small on pairing turns or just check.
